Location Transfer - Full Control Method

1. Once the two separate locations have been setup in SMARTSystem you can switch between the two using the Change Home Location window

2. To move inventory between locations go to Inventory Location Transfer Request ( You need to be logged in to the location you are transferring TO)

3. Select your product, put in a quantity and a comment if needed.

4. Check the Transfer Button

5. You can see the status of a Transfer in the Location Product Transfer Logs (under Management Menu)

6. This log shows you all the details of the request and whether it has been confirmed and/or shipped

7. The location that is going to fulfill the transfer would go to Shipping - Location Inventory Transfer - Shipping

8. In the warehouse they would check the Confirmed check box and then click Save Changes to show everyone that they received the request for the product

9. Then they can print the Log as a paper copy of the transfer and attach it to the product being transferred and then fill in the Quantity Shipped and check the Shipped check box and click Save Changes.

10. Upon arrival at the second location the warehouse would open Location Inventory Transfer - Receiving

11. The user would then check the box Received and the product would be added to the location's inventory
