Inventory Shelf Location Maintenance and Labels

This program was designed to be used with the SMARTScan Tools module

Warehouse Location Label:

Implementing SMARTScan will require that the warehouse locations be bar coded.

Here is an example of the warehouse shelf barcoding screen, sample label and contents of the labels bar code:

The Backstock location or warehouse is where the Receiving Manager receives products using the “Add to Back Stock” app in SMARTScan Tools. The bar code label for Aisle, Bay & Shelf location is scanned, and quantity is entered for where product is located.

The Shelf Location Quantities are managed using the SMARTScan Tools Quantity Management applications.

NOTE: The Location Quantities are maintained independently of the SMARTSystem’s Inventory On-Hand Quantities.

The Location Quantities sub-menu:

Scan the Location label, as shown in Shelf below.

Scan the Product Code on the box label, as shown in the SKU below.

Enter Quantity being added to that location.

Green shows the previous scan: quantity, product and location.

Submit updates the location quantities and identifies the last scanned action:

The inventory Location View is updated as shown below:

The SMARTScan Tools “Product Lookup” screen below will  show the inventory locations and quantity that is in the Inventory Location View above.

The following screen is designed for a full inventory count. To use it for adjustments, + or – can be used.
